I’m a Primetime Emmy Award-winning showrunner, director and writer based in New Jersey.

Over two decades in the film and TV business, I’ve shot documentaries and premium docudramas on five continents (still waiting for that Australia gig) and worked with quite a few people you've definitely heard of, including Steven Spielberg, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill Nye, Christopher Nolan, Kurt Russell, RuPaul, Erin Burnett and President George W. Bush.

My production career has taken me from the Playboy Mansion to the Oval Office, from the heart of Saudi Arabia’s Empty Quarter to deep inside Egypt’s pyramids. Along the way, I’ve built lasting and successful relationships with a broad range of talent, DPs, editors, and VFX partners whose versatile range of skills and sensibilities I can tap into for any project.

I have equal experience as both a producer and director, understanding the challenges of both roles and the critical importance of synergy between the two, but I believe success for any project is grounded first and foremost in the writing, and consider myself a writer at heart.

Recent career highlights include an Emmy nod for a well-timed doc on Oppenheimer, and show running my first major network series, NBC’s Survival Mode, premiering in July 2025.

I’m a Jersey boy from birth, a proud dad of two teens, a lucky husband to my college sweetheart, an avid reader, skier and guitar tinkerer. I love history, baseball, Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Goodfellas and Back to the Future. And I like to think I’ve got a few more years yet in that sweet spot where sage experience and youthful energy dovetail.
